Not much going on this day. We departed at 8 again and drove 3 hours to Cienfuegos for a choral performance by a group famous in Cuba that also travels the world. We had one quick stop at a gas station for a toilet break. We arrived at Cienfuegos town square and we walked to an old theater that was popular at the turn of the century and the 20's and walked around. Cienfuegos is beautiful and the buildings are in much better shape than Havana City. We had about 20 minutes after the theater tour to explore the square and surrounding streets before the Choir.

The choir gave a wonderful performance that was a mix of religious and folk songs and new popular cuban music. Many of us bought their CD.

Next we loaded up the bus and rode to our lunch restaurant in a beautiful old building. Lunch was seafood again, lobster, fish, shrimp, rice, and a vegetable medley. After taking a few pics, we boarded the bus and are in the middle of our 3.5 hour drive back to Havana and the last 3 days of our trip.

Arriving around 6:30. We were on our own for dinner at the hotel buffet. I stayed in while M&M and Jae went to a nearby paladero. They kindly brought me back left overs after having what they thought was the best meal of the trip so far. Tasting the left overs I had to agree!
